The field mouse that could

On a 19th c. farmstead site just south of Fredericksburg, VA, a field mouse jumped into our well unit, which at this point was 6 ft. deep. You can see him, a little dark spot on the floor next to the wall on the right. Andy, one of the field techs that works for me, was kind enough to provide some scale.
